The Essence of Spring

The usual Wednesday visit to Briarlands. I'd forgotten about the school holidays though and of course it was mobbed. So we made it a shorter visit with just enough time to feed George and a few other animal and non-animal related activities. Great fun.

Off to The Smiddy to celebrate Cameraman's birthday then home for cake in the garden. Too windy for candles on the cake and maybe just as well ...

I'll cook tonight and we'll have a small toast to many happy returns.
