A fine pear

Short of a Blip again, I did some experimentation with the macro tubes in the garden. I've only ever used them in 'studio' conditions before (i.e. the kitchen workbench) and frankly, it wasn't very successful. They are supposed to work with the auto-focus on the camera but they don't, so the combination of manual focus, using the live view in bright sunshine, not having perfect eyesight and a slight breeze made for a lot of blurred and unrecognisable shots. Instead, this is a shot of the blossom on a small Conference Pear tree that I planted two years ago. It didn't do much in it's first year so hopefully the fact we have blossom means we'll get at least one pear from it this time.
