Gilbert Scott
In to London today on what must be the warmest day of the year so far. We had lunch at The Gilbert Scott, the restaurant opened by well known chef Marcus Wareing within the wonderfully restored St Pancras International station. The food was excellent (I've added a copy of the menu as an extra) and we had a very nice bottle of wine. And the extra bonus? It didn't cost us a penny as it was a very generous gift from our good friends G&S for our Silver Wedding at the end of last year. I didn't take the camera with me so these were taken on my phone, the main shot being the view of the station from the entrance to the Gilbert Scott.
I don't think we'll be eating again today.
