Day out in London
So C had a physio appointment at 3pm in Pimlico so we thought we'd spend the day in London. First we spent an hour at Thomas Carlyle's house, which is a lovely Victorian terrace owned by the National Trust. There she spotted William Morris wallpaper and the National Trust volunteer was impressed with her knowledge.
We then picnicked overlooking the Thames at Albert Bridge. Walked along the Embankment until we turned up to Victoria as there is a Lush in the station. It took some finding, but eventually our noses lead us to it. She was encouraged to play by one of the staff and consequently came out glittery and smelling of coca butter. She also spent some money but apparently "A ballerina has to have a lush bath Mummy!".
After a stop for caffeine we walked to Pimlico where she had her physio appointment. Everything has massively improved and she has been discharged with tweaked exercises and I have been told to see how she goes and email if there are any issues.
But we missed the last off peak train so we walked back to Green Park and headed for Leicester Square where we had pizza in Chinatown and finally headed home on the 19.10 where she met her bestie and family who had been to the zoo for the day.
Nearly ten miles walked. She should sleep tonight.
