Lemon

A Year With My Camera this week is getting us to think about light. Lemon slices do rather interesting things, reflectively speaking, if you look hard enough.

A foutery, tail chasing sort of morning. But the tail did allow itself to be caught in the end - nearly. Just a few loose ends left over to tie up tomorrow.

An energetic afternoon mucking out the chickens' run and coop and then barrowing the gatherings to mulch the further corners of the garden. Old ex-batt hen has been looking steadily more unhappy over the course of the past week. I hate taking the hens to the vet; so stressful for them in the waiting room being sniffed and barked at by dogs but an appointment for tomorrow has been made. I hope she'll fend off whatever is making her subdued so she can enjoy a bit more of her retirement.
