Hens' teeth?
Took the poorly hen to the vets but the diagnosis wasn't clear. Not a surprise given her age but the vet suggested antibiotics anyway. Trying to persuade a reluctant hen to take any sort of medication is always interesting and this lot of chewable tablets are designed for dogs with big gnashers not hens whose absence of teeth is rather well known.
Then yoga with Sue which definitely reached parts I didn't know even existed.
In the afternoon I got Son 2 to assist with pricking out the dahlia seedlings. He was a bit concerned that he might destroy them all with hands that are more used to taking down the opposition in rugby matches not manipulating delicate plantlets but he turned out to be a bit good at it. In fact his tray looked quite a lot better than the ones I'd done. Could be most useful - although having realised the implications I wonder if he slightly regrets discovering this new talent.
Then in the evening W and I went for a walk in the woods with our cameras in an effort to make the most of the setting sun. Was a lovely walk but it was vexingly hard to take any pic which was even vaguely satisfying.
