More Shades of Grey

It is tempting on a grey day to avoid photographing a very well known Arran 'view', so often the subject of sunlit and shining images. But there is an eerie and quite mystical quality in the faint mist-shrouded Holy Isle seen, as in the famous John Cunningham print, from the road south of Whiting Bay.
