Desiccated

I don't know much about flowers, or plants of any kind come to think of it. I'm always impressed when anyone can name a tree or a bush. Admittedly, I can name (most) vegetables but only once they're picked and on a plate, and that's about it. 

And I'm not sure why flowers sometimes wilt and droop, and evidently need throwing in the bin, and other times dry out and look so beautiful, especially in this wonderful morning light.
