Marine Corps Air Operations

There is a US Marine Corp Air Base in Yuma so there are a lot of training activities in the sky at all hours of the day and night.  Today we spotted this airplane and two helicopters flying slowly but they were so far away we couldn't really tell what was going on.  We were surprised to see that the helicopters were carrying Humvees when I downloaded the images.  It looks like the plane was refueling the helicopters in the air.  It's not the clearest shot but it was really far away and I was in the digital range with my super zoom bridge camera.  Anyway, I thought it was really interesting to see.

We spent the day getting my sister's house ready to withstand the summer heat and packing the things she wants to take back to Colorado.  We will be leaving early in the morning to start our journey back to Colorado.  I hope to be able to post my blips on the way home but, if not, I'll catch up when I get home on Tuesday.  Thanks for all your visits while I've been on this trip. :-))
