Waiting for Dinner

This afternoon Cyclops and CyclopsJnr went up to Cyclops' parents for a wee visit.  We had a lovely afternoon at the park, and CyclopsJnr was a very good boy.  Another child deliberately threw a spadeful of sand right in his face.  It went in his eyes and mouth and up his nose, and he calmly came back to me and let me clean him up.  No fuss, no acts of violence against the perpetrator.  Great.

When we got back to the house, we took his cot apart (he's too big for it) and set up his mattress on the floor.  He was delighted with this bed arrangement, especially having been involved in preparing it.

He was also a very good boy having dinner on a big chair at the table with the rest of us, although he was clearly hungry - he  sat down well before the rest of us!
