North Dale Walk
On a beautiful afternoon we were looking to avoid the crowds. An article in the Guardian this morning on secret places suggested the railway track but we felt that would be popular with both cyclists and walkers today. A walk from Rosedale Abbey up North Dale seemed to fit the bill. We didn't see a soul until we crossed the ridge into the main Rosedale valley.
A wonderful walk accompanied by the distinctive sound of Curlews.
