Deep in the heart of Orchid

We did get out a bit this morning but none of the photos we took were inspiring. And then the threatened promised rain happened. Not heavy but that fine soaking stuff that just makes outside a place not to be if at all possible.
So this is, if not quite an emergency blip, fairly close to it. I was mucking about experimenting with the camera last night when I discovered that the macro button gives you the option of a further "super" macro. Not altogether sure what can be achieved with it but above is a shot of our orchid. Given the "exotic" look of these flowers, I was going to title it "deep throat" but then thought no, that is just a step too far!Friday tomorrow, weekend looming over the horizon, so enjoy.
