Hot hot hot

What gorgeous hot sunny day today! Mr J went off to see his brother and me and the kiddies spent the morning in the garden. They amused themselves on the trampoline and I got on with some gardening. Pulling out all the dead wood and ivy from the trees at the bottom. It was tough work but very therapeutic.

We had lunch in the garden and it was lovely to be eating alfresco again. After lunch we went to the church to meet up with friends and to do the easter crafts. We decorated biscuits and cakes, made easter bunny cards, completed the Easter egg hunt and did some foot print painting. The end product of which will be displayed in the church over the following weeks. The kiddies thought it was great fun to squelch in the paint and walked up and down to 'Jerusalem' several times!
