Cooling off

It's been a scorcher today. The hottest day of the year so far. We spent the morning ice skating...as you do!

We met up with friends and had a great old time. This was cousin N's first time on the ice but she was natural. She literally has no fear and was off! P was better than last time but likes to keep a penguin in close proximity and I don't blame her. I'm rubbish on skates too. Glad the adults can walk with shoes on.

This afternoon was spent in the garden. It was glorious. The children played, I sunbathed and Mr J got digging some old tree roots out of the ground.

G&G came to collect cousin N. After saying our goodbyes I took P to her swimming lesson.
