Wall

I walk by this particular wall every trip to the market, but never noticed the wording until today. Zihuatanejo is located in the state of Guerrero, one of 31 in Mexico, as is Acapulco, our more famous neighbor to the south.  Named after the second president of Mexico, we are the only state in Mexico to be so honored. Funny that I originally emigrated to this country from a state in the U.S. named after the first American president, also the only state with such an origin, to this one - looks like I cannot escape that connection to history.
