Peppers In A Crate

While not strictly on my plate, these colorful peppers at our local market will eventually end up on many pates throughout town. Mexico offers a wide variety of pepper choices, from benign to hotter than the blazes. Sometimes the only way to find out is to buy and sample. I loved the way the sun came through the slates of the crate to form patterns of light and shadow over the patterns of color and texture created by the peppers themselves.
