Brizzle Clootie Tree
Just back from a fantastic week and a half in Cornwall where the sun shone, the house was amazing and the exploration mighty. More of that tomorrow when I sort out my 711 pix! We stayed last night with Serpent in Bristol and caught up with all her Indian adventures. She had even brought me some tea from the tea garden in Darjeeling where I was born - a real feat to get to it if you remember! This Champagne of teas will only be offered on very special occasions.
We had a very quick mosey round Bristol this morning and were astonished to find it was Palm Sunday. This tree outside the cathedral also caught my eye - so much like a clootie tree found at holy wells (yes, one of two were hunted down in Cornwall, see the one at Madron in the extra). The tree is all that's left of the The Occupy Bristol Protest, actually very like a clootie tree with its hopes and fears.
Proper catch up tomorrow, jet lag has set in!!
