Sunday Papers

Two years ago we were asked to take part in the Scottish Open Gardens, on the Orkney Trail, to raise funds for the Neuro Ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.  It was a great success and we've been asked to do it again this year.

On the back of it, this article was written by Antoinette Galbraith, and Ray Cox came up and took lots of super photos.  Rumour had it that one day it would appear in print!  It's taken a while, but today was the day. Very strange to see it, a mixture of pride and embarrassment.  I do hope this doesn't seem like vanity, but I had to buy copies to send to English family and friends too!

Also today we had to open the craft shop for the first cruise liner bus tour of the year!  The first of many . . . but they were lovely folk and several of them thanked us personally for opening specially for them.
