Birds in the Garden and a Tripod!

I now have a tripod.  How grown up is that!   Now I might be able to take some zoomy bird shots without wobbling all over the place.  Lots of practising  is needed, I am sure.  So be patient with me.

However, this morning provided me with two excellent opportunities.  Firstly a pair of Canada geese landed for a mooch around the pond.  I doubt they will stay as it probably isn't deep enough for them.  Then a plump thrush pecked around the edge of the front garden looking for breakfast.  

So a good start for me developing my wobble free zoom skills.  Have a good week folks.
