Busy Blackbird

I spotted Mrs Blackbird this morning darting in and out of the ivy.
I tried several times to take a photo, but she is so fast. 
This was the best of several rubbish shots. However just as I focused on her she turned her back and up she flew, but you can just see the nesting material in her beak.
I hope this year they will be successful as for the past few years the nest has been tipped up, I think by a magpie.
She has been so busy, while her mate has been singing away up in the tree!
Typical. Need I say more!!!

Another sunny day, but with a cold wind and temp. down to 15C.
Did get all my washing dry though.

Looking forward to our wine club meeting tonight. We missed last month as we were on holiday.
Tonight it is "Member's Choice". With a bit of a quiz thrown in.
Should be interesting.
