Some like it hot!
I'm not sure if I haven't blipped this before for Tiny Tuesday, but I hope not.
It just fits the bill for today's challenge of "Food".
The small grains of Chilli Sea Salt. Made by the Cornish Sea Salt Co. but bought at our local farm shop.
Ingredients include chilli, garlic, oregano, cumin, tomato, jalapeño pepper, red bell pepper, and of course salt.
You only need a pinch. It really does spice up a curry,or sprinkle over fish or chicken.
We had a great wine club meeting last night. Tasted some very interesting wines brought by members.
We had to guess the country of origin, and the grape variety. Given three alternatives for each wine.
The wine which foxed us all was the last one.
Called " Secret Squirrel " it was a red, Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State, USA.
It can be bought at Cost Co. for £ 19.00 a bottle. I don't think anyone got it right.
Two people tied for first place. With 9 out of 12.
Guess who!
Myself and MrC. We weren't sat together, and had no idea what the other one had put.
Needless to say it caused a lot of laughter, especially as we then had a tiebreaker to see who was the overall winner.
Question, What is the distance , in miles, from the top of Chile to the bottom?
I had to go first, and guessed 2000 miles.
Mr C then guessed higher at 2500.
Correct answer was just over 2600.
So HE won!
The prize was a bottle of Sicilian wine from M&S.
To be shared with the runner up!!
