Jacqui's World

Ted at Stoney Stratford.

This building in Stoney Stratford is called the Cock Hotel now but it is a building that was a former coaching inn and was built in 1480 called the Cock Inn. Some of the famous visitors were Samual Johnson, author of the first dictionary, Charles Dickens and the Duke of Wellington.
Down the street there is another inn that is called the Bull Inn.
So Stoney Stratford is famous for the term " Cock and Bull Story" as tales were told in between the inns.

Ted found it a very interesting tale.
