Chip 'n' snip
Poor little Qwerty has come of age and today was the day of his chip 'n' snip. He wasn't too happy about no breakfast and was even less happy when we dropped him off at the vets at 9am. My poor little boy.
We did a bit of shopping at the retail park. P spent her 10p pocket money on some sweets! It wasn't really pocket money as such, just some loose change she had collected from around the house. I told her she could buy whatever she liked. She was a bit disheartened when she realised she couldn't afford anything in toys r us. After I explained the difference between pounds and pence. She was happy enough though picking a packet of sweets from tescos!
We then made our way to our friends house. The kiddies played and all had a walk to the park. The children had races to see who could roll down the bank the fastest which was funny to watch. Just after lunch we got the call to say that qwerty could be collected.
He was a sorry sight when we got him home. He was walking very funny and didn't understand why he wasn't allowed outside. He was also ravenously hungry and I can only assume he must be comfort eating. I know I would be! At least he doesn't have to wear a cone and can go outside again in couple of days.
