Derwentwater

We managed a decent walk today around Borrowdale. The children have been bribed with a promise of go karting but that didn't stop them moaning. 
We started off at Ashness bridge, walked along the lakeshore, Lodore Falls, Watendlath beck, and the photo was taken at 'Surprise View'. You can apparently see Cat Bells, Maiden Moor, Skiddaw, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake.
A quick stop at Alfie's favourite supermarket, Booths, on the way back to stock up and then back to the house for a well earned drink.
