Holy week - Wildlife & Churches #2

Continuing with my theme, I went for a trip to the beautiful All Saints church Danehill in East Sussex. This church really is a total gem with a beautiful set of Kempe windows, and really interesting interior, but my visit today was to photograph the Green winged orchids Anacamptis morio, that are coming into flower around the church. They were simply amazing, and there are a lot more coming. I have chosen this shot because you can see not only the church, but the beautiful avenue of pleached / pollarded lime trees in the background which alone makes this church worth a visit.
