Herdwick Ram

This handsome fellow is as benign as he looks. Herdwicks are gentle and good-natured, and a breed that is special to the fells of the Lake District. I watched while this and another ram rubbed faces in a friendly greeting as they carefully avoided each others curly horns. I fancied they were whispering "Baa Ram Ewe, Baa Ram Ewe" but perhaps I'm being influenced by my favourite movie, "Babe".
