Tonbridge Castle

I have not featured this view of Tonbridge castle before. On the left is the top of the old Norman castle tower,. In the centre is the 1793 mansion that was added on to make a home, that was then used as a military academy and then a prep school. In 1899 the Council bought the building, opened it to the public and moved in some Council offices in. I am not sure when they built the extension to their offices on the right.  It is quite a contrast.
