Almost

I paid a brief visit to the allotment to gather our first (ever) asparagus crop - OK, it was only five spears, but it's been a long wait and they were very delicious! I'm sure the Met Office had been predicting a dreary sort of day with the temperature not feeling much above 6 deg C - but as I walked back home sweltering in a superfluous waterproof I noticed the flowers on the maple tree against a cloudless blue sky. Well, almost cloudless.
