I picked up a car at lunchtime and we set off early for Crail, assuming that the traffic might be tricky. It was indeed - the Queensferry Rd was almost at a standstill - but we still found ourselves with about 20 minutes to spare, so we stopped near Anstruther kirk to admire the seafront.

After meeting up at the Town Hall in Crail I did a short sound check and then we were treated to a bite to eat at Jenny and Dennis's house. The gig seemed to go much better than I had anticipated, with such a limited scope for songs I could include (guitar-playing basically down to the three-chord trick). Perhaps the audience were just very kindly souls. :-)
