Today we visited the very lovey Holker Hall. We opted for just a garden ticket. The gardens were fantastic and I hate to say it but much better than any National Trust garden I've ever visited. I would have liked to explore the park land too but our aching shins wouldn't allow it!! We then had lunch at a pub in Ulverston and stopped for a browse around Windermere on the way back. We are on the hunt for a print to take home with us. We brought cake and ice cream from Booths. Can I sense a post honeymoon diet being required? I brought this funky purse from one of those shabby chic home living kinda shops. As soon as I set eyes on it I knew it had to be mine!
