'Wanna Know A Secret'

Psssstttt, Hey Bella, we're in a different country now.

Big day yesterday, early start in wattle Glen, out at the airport by 10:30am for a 12:15pm flight to Christchurch. Jetstar flight delayed for around 2 1/2 hours. Apparently one of the computers on board needed to be replaced.

All was travelling beautifully, Bella slept for 2 1/2 hours of the flight, then was rudely awoken by the most massive turbulence i've ever experienced as we flew over the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Forget Disneyland rides, this was incredible, people flying up and down up their seats in a bit of panic, air stewardesses being thrown down the aisle on hands and knees. Lucky it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Touched down hours late, arranged to pick up our chariot and headed out for some tucker trying to find our way around in the dark. Found a great Italian restaurant and had some great pizzas.

Quick trip to the supermarket called Countdown (Woolworths in Aus) for some car snacks and breakfast cereals before heading back to our room. Watched a bit of the Palalympics on TV and headed off to the sack.

Great weather here so far.
