The play's the thing

We followed yesterday's Segway adventure  with a wonderful day at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-on-Avon, courtesy of a birthday present for Anniemay from Chris, Dan and Kelly.

We had a lovely B&B last night close to the theatre and spend the morning on a backstage tour.  Just amazing.  Well worth it if you’re ever in the Stratford.  

Then in the afternoon we saw Julius Caesar.  It was bloody spectacular.  So much so that the crew had to come on in the interval and mop down the stage.  (Really).

It was a fabulous experience and we look forward to going again.
