Two on one

We have had lovely blue sky all day, no rain and limited wind all day.  Took the dog for a walk and came home to hear birds in the fig tree.  Found it was our little waxeyes,,,gorging on the ripe figs.  I don't mind as they aren't my favourite fruit.  Teach does tend to use them in other ways - wrapped in bacon and stuffed with camembert, as well as making a chutney.  But then I did catch him trying to pick them before the birds did!
