It is Good Friday

"A new sax player in Quincy Street and Will has a new face to paint"  was the message that was heard in Burgundy's! 
This is Stuart Johnson from Penrith, yet another great sax player.  He replaces Paul Palmer.  
Paul wants to focus on his own Quintet. 
Others are Pete Major on keyboards, Laurence Canty on bass, Jon Moreman on trombone and Pete Froggatt on drums. 
Peter Major explained that there will be a session at Zefferelli's in Ambleside on the first evening of each month for budding jazz musicians - I doubt if I will be there with my sax - retirement is such a busy time to find the time to practice ....priorities did I hear you say!!!
