The Flying Scotsman
The Flying Scotsman is at the Bluebell Railway for the next few days, so we got the timetable of its journeys between Sheffield Park Station and East Grinstead, and Alan did some research to find somewhere we could go and watch it. We didn't want to go to any of the stations as they would be very busy, plus it's nicer to see it as it's 'chuffing' through the countryside.
We went quite early and got a good spec along with a few other photographers and train spotters. The light wasn't ideal as we were facing into the sun, but the photos have come out ok, considering. There were a couple of other trains that came past too and I've added them to my extras.
We were home for lunch time and Alan is now jet washing the decking ready to re-paint it. I'm going to go and sit and read my book in the sun and then tonight we're going to VIP our local Italian restaurant with Elif, Seyran, Sian and Chris.
Hope you're having a lovely start to your Easter weekend.
