Good Friday Walk to the Yellow House
Across the valley from Grace and John's house is Stoke Park an historic and largely hidden part of Bristol.
G&J often run here but today after a delicious Moroccan breakfast made by Grace we took the car to a valeting service and left it there to walk through Stoke Park to the Yellow House.
The Yellow house can be clearly seen from the M32 and is the former dower house of the Somerset family.
Enroute we diverted into one of several wooded areas as they were full of Spring flowers. You can see Grace here surrounded by Wood Anemones, Bluebells and wild garlic, perfect for Flower Friday.
The sights and sounds were lovely and we got a fleeting glance of an owl we disturbed too. Beyond the woods are great views over east Bristol.
After Chris yesterday you get Grace today and you can see us all with the Yellow House behind in the extra high above the M32.
A pleasant 3 mile walk then home to meet up with John's brother and family before we head into town for Tacos.
We are eating early as Chris and Grace are doing front of house at the Redgrave Theatre tonight as BAOS perform Made in Dagenham. Looking forward to it and the curry afterwards.
A pretty multicultural and multi faceted Good Friday!
