2017 Thursday -- Sea Glass
Finding sea glass is fun; finding some with identification marks is very interesting. This piece has a partial title, but we're not sure what the entire word would be. This is a mystery, one that eventually might be solved.
We were walking the dogs near the pier when we found several pieces of sea glass, which is a little unusual for this time of year. The season for sea glass is normally mid-November to February. This year because of the extra rain here in California, the storms are continuing to churn the shoreline and that causes the sea glass to be exposed. So today's bonus was finding what we think of as unseasonal sea glass.
As we walked the wind was very cold. I had my hoody sweatshirt on, but getting chilled on the shore wasn't much to my liking because the other day I felt quite sure I was about to get a sinus head cold and then I killed it with large doses of Vitamin C & B. So I didn't stay out in the wind too long, but probably longer than I should have.
