On show

Work in morning, then walked to Brookings Institute and had useful conversation and a look round some collab space (although very small) before home to prepare for the reception. Lot of names and biogs to learn, and hassle with the caterers, but seemed to go off very well - the sitting room was a perfect elegant space to use
Once we got past the set piece bits I enjoyed some good chats with a range of people and the food was very nice in the end - their apology chocolates delivered later were particularly good!
Bit of a debrief before we collapsed into bed. Hard going all this business stuff!
