Ears at Easter
We started the day with a guided cemetery tour. The Director of the Hanover Historical Society was our guide, showing the changes in cemetery layout and headstones as the country moved from the colonial period to the present. It was a lovely spring morning and a good group turned for the tour. There are a couple photos in the extras. The Union Cemetery( "city of sleepers") is in a section of Hanover with an interesting name. It's called Assinippi, which is from the Wampanoag Tribe( New England Native Americans) meaning "rocks in water".
For the Record,
This day came in warm and sunny, but a cool wind blew in as the day progressed. A very warm Easter Sunday is predicted.
All hands joining in spirit with those marching and demanding #45's taxes be turned over and made public.
