On our way ...

We were on the Wharf at Picton at 7:0am, waiting for the ferry to cross Cook Strait. It was an easy crossing! D. was very thankful. We drove on up to Taumarunui, and have had a preliminary look at the Whanganui River. It's very high, and is going to have to go down considerably tomorrow, for us to launch on Tuesday.
