Lighthouse, Poole

Formerly called the "Poole Arts Centre" and inaugurated in the late 1970s. 

Now the Lighthouse, presumably because there are no other lighthouses in Poole Harbour.  Either that, or the word "arts" was considered redundant.  (Well, the library in Winchester is not the "discovery centre", an equally impenetrable title than that of a "lighthouse" in a town centre.)
