inspired by a spider

I know some people have difficulty liking spiders but I think they are rather beautiful. They are hard workers too. They work like mad weaving the most beautiful trap and then sit waiting for their dinner to come to them. This handsome specimen was not having too much luck. All he had caught so far were two microscopic midges. Then along comes a thoughtless human being and nearly destroys all his hard work. Fortunately, he was able to repair the damage.

But, could I ever be inspired by a slug? Now, there's a challenge for me!
