Back to normality today after the delights of yesterday at the Sakkara Country Club.  Bb and I both had some work to do in the morning and then after Bb had posted this touching piece to commemorate the loss of his father 40 years ago

we headed out to Zamalek, had a quiet wander and a drink on the Hilton terrace and then dinner in 'our' Italian, La Trattoria.   After a day of family thoughts and Scotland-related things,  we sought comfort food.  Fish and chips wasn't an option here, so we opted for a delicious bowl of tomato soup as a starter in the Italian.
