Packhouse

I visited The Packhouse very many years ago when it was a scruffy collection of individual antique traders. It is a fascinating building so I thought it would be a good place to take visitor Pauline. No longer scruffy, it is no an emporium of home furnishings, antiques, designer clothes and collectables.. Up and down old wooden staircases, into little rooms full of treasures, we had a wonderful browsing morning. My extras today show a fig tree that has its roots outside the building but displays beautifully inside, and a jug of huge red silk flowers that we both coveted. We really enjoyed our morning and were thankful that once again we had left our husbands at home, reading their newspapers.
P & P are now on their way home. I hope they can come again soon!
