Islay and Jura from Westport Beach

9.8C starting with some cloud then sunny sunshine. Light NW/NNW breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound had a lie in until 8am. We went for a short walk.

Apothecary7's day off. We had a quiet morning at home.

We went to Glenbarr and unexpectedly met with Mother Shipton (with husband and KK) who had arrived not minutes before us. We all sat outside in the sunshine and had coffees etc etc. All very jolly. The we went to Westport beach and we all had a wander along towards Machrihanish. The sun was out, the surf was up (a little), and it was very fine for wandering.

Maeve was waiting at the door to greet us on our return. The little biscuits from our coffee cups at the cafe in Glenbarr went down very well.

Later Apothecary7 was painting.
