Lawn bowls

This is Coatdyke Bowling Club. I snapped it from the footbridge at my local railway station.

These bowling clubs are prevalent all over the west of Scotland. They attract a really committed crowd of folk that all seem to play a part in all aspects of the club. It seems to me they also play a big part in local communities.
