Bone head ........

Another day of various cattle jobs. The vet out this morning to take blood samples from 5 stirks for the annual BVD herd test. This is a government scheme aimed at eradicating the disease in Scotland.
Brian from Border Livestock out again to pick 10 heifers for a customer. Once he was away I had to go next door and help wee brother bring in a newly calved cow whose calf hadn't sucked yet. She only has 2 working tears any way so she won't be seeing a bull again.
Mrs F and Littlemiss took the dogs for a walk tonight where one of them picked up this bit of bone.
