Pond life

Even without the influx of toadpoles we were hoping for, the pond is coming to life. It is currently in the 'getting murky' phase that I've read about, but the plants are thriving, the insects are flocking in and the birds have a new preferred water hole.

Some garden work today, some legal work, lots of maths with CarbBoy and a too small amount of sitting outside reading my book. But I feel an early night is about to bring balance to the force.

In odd news, there must have been some kind of public information campaign on use of indicators while I was away. The driving politeness is unsettling... like aliens have taken over.
