Cherry Blossom #1

It feels like a Monday to me today, not a Thursday near the end of a week.
This is what happens when you spend two days away and have to start the week again back home.

In the intervening days the cherry blossom has erupted along all the paths in the Meadows, framing our view from the Dower House in a pink arc.

The sun was intermittent today, but when it shone, the blossom in the distance looked a dusky pink through the new leaves of the patio Japanese Acer, set alight to a fiery red.

There was another trip to the printers this morning to hand in the draft of His Lordship's pictorial compendium of our holidays over 21 years - his answer to my Blipfoto books. Competition is always rife in the Dower House.

I dedicate this blip to blipper Snowy in New Zealand
