Another

Continuing our stay in Liverpool, today's principal excursion was to Crosby Beach where 12yo and I walked a few miles and spent a few hours playing frisbee and football in between the 100 figures that make up Anthony Gormley's Another Place installation.

Returning to the city in mid afternoon 12yo asked if we could go to the "modern art place" so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the Tate which provided an opportunity to walk around Tracy Emin's bed among other works.

We finished off the day with a resolutely low culture trip to the cinema.

Picking one out of tens of images was going to be a struggle, but I'm always a sucker for birds on statues and you have the added bonus of the hills of my homeland beyond.
